POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Experienced Dental Assistant - Prefer candidate to have their NDAEB certificate - Must be HARP certified LOCATION: near 403 & 3rd Line, Oakville HOURS:
- Mon 9:30-5:30 - Wed 9:30-5:30 - Fri 8:30-3:30 COMPENSATION: $30, possibly more depending on experience and performance JOB OVERVIEW:
- Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials - Assisting dentist with surgery, root canals, crowns, bridges,veneers, implants invisalign, fillings,extractionsandmouthguards - Placement and removal of rubber dams - Taking x-rays of patients' teethand exposing dental diagnostic x-rays - Using suction and swabs to keeppatients' mouths transparent and dry during procedures - Taking preliminary impressions - Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics - Questioning patients about their medical history and recording theinformation for dentist's reference - Advising patients on dental care, oralhygiene and plaque control programs - Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before,during and after dental treatment
