Dental Assistant Level I or II Grads welcome - Stouffville, ON Our client in Stouffville is looking for Level I or II Dental Assistant part-time - 1 or 2 days during the week & 1 Sat a month. POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS - Experienced Level I or IIDental Assistant

- Open to Grads and experience DA's
- Have Harp certification LOCATION Hwy 48 & Main St, Stouffville HOURS - 1 or 2 weekdays (Adaptable with days)
- Mon 10-6
- Tues 11-7
- Wed 11-8
- Thurs 9-3
- 1-2 Sat a month 8-3 COMPENSATION $22-$28 negotiable TBDdepending on experience and performance JOB OVERVIEW - Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
- Sterilizing instruments
- Assisting dentist with restoration - crowns, bridges,porcelainveneers,fillings,extractions, implants, invisalign




- Placement and removal of rubber dams
- Taking x-rays of patients' teethand exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
- Using suction and swabs to keeppatients' mouths clear and dry during procedures
- Taking impressions (depending on experience)
- Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics
- Questioning patients about their medical history and recording theinformation for dentist's reference
- Advising patients on dental care, oralhygiene and plaque control programs
- Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before,during and after dental treatment
