The Director, Business Development - GLP Bioanalytical Services will play a key role in advancing Cliantha Research's strategic growth initiatives across GLP bioanalytical services, veterinary bioanalysis, and topical pharmaceutical development supported by IVRT and IVPT studies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, animal health, and related life sciences sectors. Primary responsibilities include developing and executing strategic territory and account plans, generating qualified leads, managing client relationships, and expanding Cliantha's market presence across North America and globally.

This role will lead the entire business development lifecycle, including prospecting, opportunity qualification, proposal development, client presentations, contract negotiations, and account management. The Director will work closely with scientific, laboratory, project management, and executive leadership teams to develop customized solutions that address client needs while ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The position requires a strong understanding of regulated bioanalytical services, drug development processes, and CRO business models, together with a demonstrated ability to achieve revenue growth and build long-term strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated success in business development, lead generation, and revenue growth within CRO, bioanalytical,



clinical research, or life sciences organizations.
- Proven experience selling GLP bioanalytical services and/or clinical research services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and animal health companies.
- Strong business planning and territory management skills, including pipeline development, forecasting, and strategic account management.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with scientific, technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
- Established network of contacts within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, and animal health industries is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
