Director of Finance / Controller

We’re partnering with a privately held, family-owned real estate investment and development group with a diversified portfolio across the GTA and the U.S.

They’re looking for a Director of Finance / Controller to take ownership of financial reporting and partner closely with the CFO/COO to drive performance across a multi-entity, cross-border platform.

Key focus:

- Lead all financial reporting (monthly/quarterly/annual)
- Manage consolidations, intercompany, and entity-level reporting
- Oversee audits and external advisors

- Deliver property-level reporting across asset classes
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strengthen controls, cash management, and processes
- Lead and mentor the accounting team

What they’re looking for:





- CPA
- 7–12+ years of progressive experience
- Real estate experience (industrial, office, retail, or multi-family)
- Strong multi-entity + consolidation experience

- U.S. exposure is a solid asset
