Duties

- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently throughout each shift
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, sinks, and dishwashing stations in compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste and recyclables to uphold sanitation standards
- Support the food service team by providing clean dishes promptly for meal service or guest use
- Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, cleaning chemicals,



and equipment operation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, food handling, and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of basic kitchen safety practices and proper use of cleaning chemicals
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced settings
- Previous experience in hotel or food service industries is a plus but not mandatory
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
