Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit to meet specification.
- Create accurate schematics and technical illustrations that clearly communicate design intent for construction and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into precise drawings.
- Incorporate construction experience insights into drafting work to ensure practicality and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain organized digital files and documentation of all drawings, revisions, and project updates in accordance with company procedures.
- Review drawings for accuracy, consistency,
and adherence to project requirements before final submission.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit.
- Strong understanding of drafting standards, schematics development, and technical documentation.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building processes enhances the quality of your work.
- Skilled in creating detailed 2D drawings as well as basic 2D animations for project visualization.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to interpret complex design concepts accurately.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams.
- A background in drafting or architecture is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training or certifications are advantageous.
