Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Developer. The successful candidate will provide hands-on development and technical support within the client’s Dynamics 365 environment, with a specific focus on supply chain functionality.
Location: Hybrid - Etobicoke 2-3d/week
Duration: 6 month to start
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and enhance solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (D365 SCM).
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to understand supply chain requirements and translate them into effective Dynamics solutions.
- Customize and extend D365 SCM functionality to support manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Develop and troubleshoot integrations, customizations, workflows, and business logic within the Dynamics environment.
- Support functionality related to areas such as inventory, procurement, warehousing, production, order management, and logistics.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues within the existing Dynamics 365 implementation.
- Perform testing and validation of enhancements and fixes.
- Document technical changes and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team.
- Deliver assigned enhancements and fixes within a fast-paced, short-duration engagement.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience developing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management / Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O;).
- Strong development experience with X++ and the Dynamics 365 development framework.
- Experience with D365 integrations, APIs, data entities, and related integration technologies.
- Positive understanding of manufacturing and supply chain business processes, including inventory, procurement, warehousing, production, and/or order management.
- Experience working with Dynamics 365 implementations or enhancements in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand an existing Dynamics environment.
- Ability to work independently and deliver effectively within a short-term consulting engagement.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
