Early Childhood Assistant Status: Regular, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week,Split shift) Level 2 Fornearly a century, we’ve been a trailblazer in promoting healthy childdevelopment and supporting families in our community. We’re dedicated toexcellence and constantly exploring innovative concepts and ideas related tochild care and education. This includes everything from our high-quality child care and enrichmentprograms, to our specialized services for children and families with uniqueneeds, and our comprehensive training programs for childcare providers andother professionals.

A little about our Centres for Early Development At Mothercraft, we are dedicated to providing exceptional child care and early learning experiences that promote healthy development for all families. Our centers for Early Development (CEDs) embody this commitment, offering enriching full day programs for children aged 3 months to 4 years.
We currently operate five child care centers, Brookfield Place, Eaton Center, Robertson House, Midtown, and Avondale and are opening three new centers, York Heights, Village Gate, and Norton Lake. Our CEDs are designed to support busy families while providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can excel.

House CED- 32 Heath Street West, Toronto, 7:30am to 6:00pm York Heights CED, 15 York Garden Way, North York, 7:30am to 6:00pm (Projected to open November / December 2026) Village Gate CED, 5143 Dundas Street West, Etobicoke, 7:30am to 6:00pm (Projected to open November / December 2026) Norton Lake CED, 1155 Queen Street East, Brampton, 7:30am to 7:30am to 6:00pm (Projected to open November / December 2026) Asour newest Early Childhood Assistant , you will play a crucial role inshaping the development of the young minds in our care.
You will be responsiblefor creating a protected, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children canlearn and grow. Your passionfor early childhood education and ability to connect with children on theirlevel will be instrumental in fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere.You’ll work alongside a team of dedicated educators and support staff,collaborating to provide the highest quality care and education for ourchildren.
As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will... Assist in providing care for the physical andemotional needs of children Develop and encourage positive and secure relationshipswith children Assist with program planning and implementationand the preparation and implementation of a culturally sensitive programplan Promote the development and well-being of childrenthrough an enriched physical and social environment Provide a safe physical environment for children Split Shift availability is a requirement. Minimum one (1) year of work experience with children and families.
