- Educational Assistant (1.0 FTE)

Commences ASAP - Hours of work will be 7:30am to 3:00pm

- Responsible for assisting learners with learning challenges and supporting their programme
- Understands the Middle Years Programme ideology (IB World School)
- Provide support for learning activities and differentiation
- Liaise with relevant professionals on goals,



programs and strategies to be used to support learning
- Supports and takes direction from the classroom teacher
- Assist in collaborative planning with homeroom teachers and IB Coordinator
- Works as a supervisor on the intercampus bus for the morning route

Qualifications and Experience

- Completion of Education Assistant program (diploma or certificate)
- First Aid Training
- Full Criminal Record Clearance, endorsement to work with children
- Experience in middle years education is an asset
- Confident and firm in expectations, demonstrates initiative and
- Experience in inquiry based learning is an asset
