Position Summary

As an EHS Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) cases, coordinating workplace accommodations, and overseeing health surveillance programs. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including employees, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance with provincial regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage occupational injury and illness claims across multiple Canadian provinces.
- Coordinate return-to-work planning and disability management programs.
- Oversee alcohol and drug testing programs and health surveillance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with provincial occupational health and privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high standards of employee care.

Requirements

- Proven experience managing WCB claims and return-to-work programs in Canada.




- Strong understanding of provincial workers' compensation legislation.
- Experience handling sensitive employee medical information with confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a national team.

Preferences

- Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or similar healthcare background.
- Experience in occupational health, disability management, or healthcare case management.
- Familiarity with SAP and multi-provincial WCB experience.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, or field-service environments.
