Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining Linux media components while ensuring effective performance under real-world conditions. Collaborating closely with the hardware team, you will shape the architecture and influence the development of vital subsystems that deliver exceptional reliability. Key Responsibilities:
- Own embedded video pipeline from sensor capture to transport
- Develop latency instrumentation and drive improvements
- Maintain Linux camera and media components with V4L2
- Tune hardware encoders for optimal performance
- Debug across software and hardware boundaries
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
- Solid embedded Linux experience on ARM products
- Advanced C programming and Linux kernel knowledge
- Experience with V4L2, media-controller, and buffer management
- Hands-on with Buildroot or Yocto for embedded systems
