EVENTS DISHWASHER

Club Atwater – Montreal, QC

Club Atwater is looking for a reliable and hardworking Events Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This position supports our Events Kitchen during weddings, private functions, banquets, and other special events. Tips Included

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Polish and properly prepare glassware and cutlery to ensure they are clean, spotless, and event-ready.
- Inspect glassware, plates, and cutlery for spots, fingerprints, or residue before they are sent to service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing area throughout the event.
- Ensure clean dishes and equipment are available to the culinary and events teams as needed.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the kitchen and dishwashing areas for events.
- Return clean dishes, glassware, cutlery, and equipment to their proper storage areas.
- Empty garbage and recycling as required and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas.
- Assist the kitchen team with general cleaning and organization.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.




- Work efficiently during busy event periods and communicate with the culinary team when additional support is required.
- Perform other cleaning and kitchen-support duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in dishwashing, restaurants, catering, banquets, or events is an asset.
- Experience polishing glassware and cutlery is an asset.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry kitchen equipment and supplies.
- Flexible availability, particularly evenings, weekends, and event dates.
- Professional and positive attitude.

POSITION DETAILS

Position: Events Dishwasher

Location: Club Atwater, Montreal

Employment Type: Part-time / Event-based

Schedule: Primarily evenings and weekends, based on the events calendar

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week
