Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems using various hand tools and construction equipment
- Perform heavy lifting of materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently to support project timelines
- Apply positive roofing practice techniques to ensure waterproofing integrity of roofing systems
- Utilize carpentry skills for framing, cutting, fitting, and finishing tasks related to roofing structures
- Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Support other team members with tasks as needed to keep projects on track
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, roofing, or related trades with a focus on commercial projects
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, drills, saws, and measuring devices
- Strong carpentry skills and handyman experience preferred
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely
- Knowledge of good roofing practice techniques for waterproofing applications
