POSITION SUMMARY The Service Technician provides remote and on-site technical support for Cefla Medical equipment and software throughout Canada. This role installs, maintains, repairs, configures, and troubleshoots dental and medical equipment while supporting authorized dealers and customers. The position reports to the Technical Services & QA/RA Manager and works closely with the National Sales Manager, Canada, to coordinate daily field priorities and scheduling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Install, inspect, configure, calibrate, maintain, and repair assigned equipment and software.
- Diagnose technical issues remotely and on-site using approved tools, procedures, and documentation.
- Manage service cases from initial intake through resolution, including accurate documentation, status updates, escalation, and customer follow-up.
- Confirm site readiness, equipment details, required parts, tools, and service authorization before traveling or beginning work.
- Provide technical support and training to authorized dealer technicians.
- Troubleshoot operating systems, software, drivers, networks, hardware, imaging systems, and approved integrations.
- Coordinate warranty service, replacement parts, returns, and equipment evaluations within established company procedures.
- Identify and escalate potential safety, quality, regulatory, or recurring product concerns.
- Maintain accurate service, labor, travel, parts, and equipment records in company systems.
- Support product launches, first installations, demonstrations, trade shows, and technical training as assigned.
- Maintain assigned tools, test equipment,



service inventory, training devices, and company assets.
- Follow all company, customer-site, safety, quality, confidentiality, and data-security requirements.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

- 3+ years of experience servicing, installing, repairing, or supporting dental, medical, veterinary, or similar technical equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting digital equipment, computer operating systems, software, drivers, networks, and hardware.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical education or certification is preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to read technical manuals, wiring or pneumatic diagrams, service bulletins, and diagnostic information.
- Solid technical, analytical, problem-solving, customer-service, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple service cases, and collaborate across departments and time zones.
- Ability to safely handle tools and equipment and perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Valid Canadian driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Valid passport and ability to meet applicable requirements for approved international travel.

TRAVEL AND WORK REQUIREMENTS

This position requires extensive travel throughout Canada, including frequent driving, air travel, and overnight stays. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Approved travel outside Canada may occur based on business needs and applicable legal requirements.
