Wabun Tribal
Council is seeking a Finance Administrator to support its financial operations in Timmins. This role, under the guidance of the Finance Advisor, involves maintaining accurate financial records and engaging with Wabun First Nations as necessary. You will need robust communication skills and prior experience in accounting systems to excel in this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and statements
- Record invoices and cash receipts in the financial system
- Assist the Finance Advisor with financial inquiries
- Prepare financial status reports for review
- Maintain accurate records for Wabun Tribal Council
Requirements:
- 3-year Accounting Diploma/Degree or 3 years experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of budgets and forecasts
- Familiar with manual and computerized accounting systems
- Criminal Reference check and ability to be bondable
