Position Summary
Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for fleet operations? GFL Environmental Services is seeking a Fleet Administrator to oversee equipment and maintenance recordkeeping, manage fuel card programs, assist with asset tracking, and provide daily administrative support. Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate equipment files by entering vehicle, maintenance, inspection, licensing, warranty, and recall records into fleet databases.
- Issue, replace, track, and reconcile fuel cards, and generate regular fuel spend reports for operations.
- Assist with the setup, internal transfer, and disposal of fleet equipment.
- Reconcile credit card expenses related to fleet operations.
- Collaborate with Compliance Coordinators on administrative tasks for vehicle licensing and driver files.
- Assist Fleet Managers with ad-hoc projects and general administrative needs.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Background in logistics, transportation operations, or fleet management software (including telematics and maintenance platforms) is a strong asset.
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail) and strong overall technical skills.
- Exceptional organizational habits, sharp attention to detail, and clear, effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
