The Forklift

Operator position at Sysco involves playing a critical role in the foodservice distribution process. You will be responsible for order picking, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining FIFO practices. Additionally, act as a backup driver when needed and ensure compliance with safety and HACCP regulations to support a clean and productive warehouse. Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure accurate order selection and timely deliveries
- Load and unload trucks while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain FIFO practices for inventory management
- Scan products for validation and return them as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to support operations

Requirements:

- Forklift certified with reach and reverse steer experience
- 3 years of experience in food service warehouse operations
- Valid driver's license and clean driver abstract
- Ability to work in cold/freezer environments
- Strong communication skills in English
