As part of Teledyne FLIR Integrated Imaging Solutions, you’ll work at the intersection of embedded processors, FPGAs, and image sensors, helping deliver reliable, high-performance machine vision cameras for automation, robotics, inspection, and intelligent transportation applications.You’ll collaborate with experienced firmware, FPGA, hardware, and software engineers while developing the low-level technology that enables customers to capture and process critical imaging data.## What you'll do* Design and maintain embedded firmware in C for industrial camera platforms.
Implement processor-to-FPGA interfaces, register maps, and control mechanisms.
Optimize high-throughput data streaming, synchronization, and timing performance.
Support board bring-up, hardware debugging,
and root-cause analysis.
Investigate customer-reported issues and deliver verified fixes.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, testing, and documentation.
Collaborate closely with FPGA, hardware, software, and test engineering teams.## working knowledge of C++.
Required: 3+ years (Master’s), 5+ years (Bachelor’s), PhD, or equivalent experience.
Required: Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Advantage: FPGA interfacing, embedded Linux, machine vision protocols, image processing, Python/Bash scripting, or VHDL/Verilog familiarity.## Close collaboration across firmware, FPGA, hardware, and software disciplines.
Technical growth within an experienced engineering team.
