Tasks - Load and unload goods - Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment - Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle - Transport and handle dangerous goods Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses - Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) - Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles) - Driver's License (Class 1 or A) - Driver's License (Class 3 or D) - Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate - Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate Documentation knowledge - Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Type of trucking and equipment - Liquid bulk Security and safety - Criminal record check - Driving record check (abstract)
