Provide compassionate individual and group counselling for clients facing addiction challenges. The Counsellor will report directly to the Program Manager, playing a vital role in the clinical team.

You'll conduct assessments, develop personalized recovery plans, and facilitate therapeutic interventions. Engaging with clients, you'll utilize evidence-based techniques to promote healing and coping skills in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients in recovery
- Facilitate group therapy addressing addiction themes
- Develop personalized recovery plans with clients
- Provide crisis intervention and acute distress support
- Educate clients and families on addiction and recovery

Requirements:

- Licensed or certified counsellor required
- Degree in social work or psychology preferred
- Experience in addiction treatment or counselling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Blackfoot Culture is an asset
