THERMEA SPA VILLAGE WHITBY, Whitby, ON, CA Full time Technical Services Supervisor Thermea Spa Village Whitby At Thermea Spa Village Whitby, our Technical Services team keeps our baths, automated building systems and grounds running at their best, so guests can relax without a second thought. We are currently seeking a hands-on Supervisor, Technical Services who thrives on solving problems, isn't afraid to jump into the day-to-day, and can balance technical expertise with sound judgement and accountability. Our spa village is the first of its kind, with state-of-the-art installations and at its core, buildings reminiscent of a distant past, when life was strongly connected with nature and steeped in traditions.

Reporting to the Manager of Technical Services, the Supervisor, Technical Services will be responsible for overseeing the daily work of the Technical Services department, ensuring safe and efficient execution of scheduled work. Supervise, support and coach team members while respecting established policies and procedures Follow up regularly on work progress to determine status, quality and ensure execution within established deadlines Ensure that maintenance work complies with health and safety, environmental and quality standards Maintain communication with operations on the timing and status of work that impacts operations and downtime of assets Review completed work orders for accuracy,



completeness, and quality standards Participate in the creation of maintenance procedures for repetitive or critical work and solicit recommendations from employees for improvement optimization of periodic work (preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance and inspections) Manage the weekly schedule and inform the team of planned work Assess backlog, future work requirements and confirm work develop job scopes, provide labour estimates, identify required parts/materials. Strong knowledge of building maintenance systems, including mechanical, electrical, automated systems Solid understanding of health and safety standards Strong leadership qualities and ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage stress and make fast, effective decisions Knowledge and understanding of pool maintenance, testing, chemistry and regulations, along with a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification, is a strong asset.
