Oracle Financials Cloud Functional Consultant (Bilingual French/English)
Location: Montreal, QC (Mostly Remote with Occasional Onsite Requirements)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oracle Financials Cloud Functional Consulting:
- Lead the analysis, design, configuration, and support of Oracle Financials Cloud solutions.
- Provide subject matter expertise in Oracle General Ledger (GL), Tax Management, and Budget Control modules.
- Configure Oracle Financials Cloud modules based on business and financial requirements.
- Support end-to-end Oracle Financials Cloud implementation, optimization, and enhancement initiatives.
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, and project teams to gather and document requirements.
- Conduct workshops, requirement sessions, and process reviews to identify business needs.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements aligned with Oracle best practices.
Financial Processes & Solution Design:
- Design and support Chart of Accounts (COA) structures and financial hierarchies.
- Support financial accounting processes including period close, reconciliations, reporting, taxation, and budgeting.
- Assist with budget planning, monitoring, forecasting, and financial control processes.
- Ensure Oracle solutions align with accounting standards, financial controls, and business objectives.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities.
- Collaborate with business users to validate requirements and test scenarios.
- Investigate, document, and resolve functional defects and issues.
- Support production deployment,
post-go-live activities, and user adoption.
Stakeholder Management & User Support:
- Act as the primary liaison between finance stakeholders, business users, and technical teams.
- Provide user training, knowledge transfer, and functional documentation.
- Support change management activities and promote best practices across the organization.
- Provide ongoing functional support and guidance related to Oracle Financials Cloud modules.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Financials Cloud.
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle General Ledger (GL).
- 5+ years of experience with Tax Management.
- 5+ years of experience with Budget Control.
- 5+ years of experience supporting Financial Accounting Processes.
- 5+ years of experience in Requirements Gathering and Functional Analysis.
- 3+ years of experience in Chart of Accounts Design.
- 3+ years of experience in Budget Planning and Monitoring.
- 3+ years of Oracle Financials Cloud Configuration experience.
- 3+ years of SIT/UAT Testing experience.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, budgeting, and reporting processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
- Strong French language skills are mandatory.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with large-scale Oracle Financials Cloud implementation projects.
- Experience in public sector, government, or enterprise finance transformation environments.
- Oracle Cloud certifications related to Financials Cloud.
- Experience with data migration, integrations, and financial reporting solutions.
- Bilingual English/French communication skills.
SIGNIFICANT NOTE: This opportunity is best suited for a senior Oracle Financials Cloud Functional Consultant with strong expertise in General Ledger (GL), Tax Management, and Budget Control modules. Candidates must possess excellent French communication skills and be comfortable working primarily remotely with occasional onsite visits in Montreal.
