Job Title: G1 Gas Technician/Gas Fitter A

Work Location: 49 Blizzard St, Fredericton, NB E3B 8K3

Work Schedule: Full-time Permanent position

You will be supplied a company vehicle, uniform, and tools.

Responsibilities:

- Perform seasonal maintenance on a wide range of hot water and steam heating systems in commercial, industrial and institutional sectors
- Diagnose natural gas and propane system issues, troubleshoot, and resolve problems
- Test combustion equipment and associated control systems
- Dismantle defective systems and test components




- Replace faulty parts and reassemble repaired systems
- Test system operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure protected and reliable performance
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and causes of malfunctions
- Perform combustion analysis and adjustments to meet manufacturer requirements
- Provide personalized follow-up with clients, either directly or through the office

Requirements:

- G1 certification

- HVAC experience an asset
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial and institutional heating and combustion systems

- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication skills with clients and suppliers
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams
