General Labourer – Temporary to Permanent

Winnipeg, MB – Some Travel Required

$18-$21/hour + Premium Pay + Overtime Opportunities

Our client is seeking dependable and hardworking General Labourers to support a variety of residential and commercial property projects throughout Winnipeg and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working as part of a team, and taking pride in completing quality work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Assist with demolition, cleanup, and general labour duties
- Move materials, equipment, and customer belongings safely and efficiently
- Support crews on residential and commercial job sites
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent project requirements
- Provide professional customer service while representing the company on-site
- Travel outside of Winnipeg when required

Qualifications

- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Steel-toe safety boots and basic hand tools




- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Willingness to travel out of town when required
- Able to wear required PPE, including a properly fitted respirator
- Able to successfully complete a criminal record check

Assets

- Previous experience in construction, demolition, restoration, property maintenance, or general labour
- First Aid certification
- Experience working in residential or commercial environments

Compensation & Advantages

- $18.00–$21/hour based on experience
