General Machinist at

GTA, ON location for their facility.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

- Measure and examine completed parts for accuracy, ensuring they meet quality standards.

- Make adjustments to machinery and tools as necessary to maintain precision.

- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.

- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the production process.

- Ensure safety protocols are followed in the work environment.

Skills And Qualifications

- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

- Knowledge of machining processes, materials, and tools.

- Understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing workplace.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.

- Relevant certifications or experience in machining may be required.
