A rare prospect to teach, create, and live Waldorf education.
Wayfinders is seeking a Primary Class Teacher (Grades 1–5) to join our growing, nature-rooted learning community at Meadowstone Farm. This is not a conventional classroom role—it is an invitation to co-create a living, breathing education grounded in Waldorf principles, forest school rhythms, and the richness of land-based learning.
✨ About the Role
- Teach a mixed-age class of ~20 children (ages 7–11)
- Lead two daily Main Lesson blocks :
- Ages 7–8 (Grades 1–2)
- Ages 9–11 (Grades 3–5)
- Co-teach in partnership with a seasoned nature education guide , integrating academic and outdoor learning
- Design and deliver a Waldorf-inspired curriculum which covers literacy and numeracy within a model of place-based education
- Collaborate with handwork and woodwork specialists, and be part of a full Waldorf-inspired program including kindergarten

- A Waldorf-trained teacher , or a certified teacher eager to pursue Waldorf professional development
- Inspired by child development, imagination, and artistic teaching approaches

- Creative, warm, and self-directed, with a genuine love of children
- Excited to co-create rather than replicate
