Overview

We are an established signage studio looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our team. Our work is varied and hands-on, with a strong focus on creating custom signage and graphics for a wide range of clients and applications. This is a fast-paced position where design, production and customer needs all come together.

We are looking for someone who understands the sign industry and can step into the position with a solid working knowledge of designing and preparing files for production.

The ideal candidate works well in a team environment, takes pride in producing high-quality signage and graphics, is organized, friendly and confident.

Responsibilities:

· Work directly with customers to understand their needs and develop design concepts

· Create and revise artwork for signs, graphics, print materials and other custom projects

· Prepare production-ready files

· Communicate with customers throughout the design and production process

· Review proofs and obtain customer approvals

· Coordinate job details and timelines with the production team

· Manage multiple projects while keeping track of deadlines and customer expectations

· Provide creative solutions when customers aren't quite sure what they need





· Assist with general customer service and job coordination, as required

· Support the team with other shop projects and responsibilities, as needed

Required Skills & Experience

· Experience in the sign industry preferred

· Strong graphic design and layout skills

· Experience preparing production-ready files

· CorelDRAW experience strongly preferred

· Knowledge of vinyl, large format printing, signage and common sign materials an asset

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced setting

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and problem-solve

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
