- Location: Vancouver, BC (In-person) - Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent - Compensation: $24.50 – $27.00 per hour Role Overview Paradox Hotel Vancouver is seeking a warm, articulate, and proactive Guest Service Agent to deliver seamless, intuitive luxury service from arrival through departure. In this dual-focus guest relations and valet role, you will be the initial point of contact, ensuring each guest enjoys a personalized, effortless hospitality experience.

Key Responsibilities - Arrival & Valet Services: Welcome arriving guests promptly; assist with vehicle door opening, luggage handling, safe parking, vehicle retrieval, key management, and valet traffic flow.

- Guest Assistance & Concierge: Provide local directions, facilitate taxi and rideshare coordination, share insights on hotel amenities and local attractions, and resolve guest inquiries or complaints with professional discretion.
- Bell & Luggage Operations: Tag, store, track, and deliver guest luggage, packages, amenities, and messages accurately; maintain bell stand logs and proper communication etiquette.
- Standards & Upkeep: Uphold luxury brand standards and safety procedures across all lobby and valet touchpoints while keeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Operational Support: Perform other related front-of-house tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements - Driver’s License:



Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.

- Education & Experience: High school diploma; prior hospitality or front-of-house experience in a luxury hotel setting is strongly preferred.
- Communication: Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking); proficiency in a second language is an asset.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and comfortably perform frequent physical movement (bending, reaching, walking).
- Schedule & Availability: Open flexibility for varied shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (hotel cannot provide sponsorship).
