Rate of Pay: Salary: Starting at $85,000 per year. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on relevant experience, education, qualifications, and professional certifications.
Hours per week: 35 hours per week | Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm

The Town of Pincher Creek is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our team on a full-time, one-year term!
At the Town of Pincher Creek, a strong health and safety culture helps protect the people who deliver essential services to our community every day. Effective health and safety systems give employees and leaders the tools, knowledge, and support they need to identify risks, prevent incidents, and create workplaces where everyone can perform their work safely and confidently.
In this role,
you'll be a trusted resource across the organization overseeing our Health & Safety Management System (HSMS), coordinating our Certificate of Recognition (COR) program, supporting incident investigations, and helping build a strong, positive safety culture for our employees and the public we serve.
We're looking for someone who:
✅ Has post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety
✅ Knows Alberta OHS legislation and COR requirements
✅ Is a strong communicator, coach, and relationship-builder
✅ Holds a valid Class 5 driver's licence
✅ Thrives working independently and collaboratively across all levels of an organization A CSO/NCSO, CRST/CRSP designation (or working toward one) and COR auditor experience are robust assets!
