We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Developer to join our team. This hybrid role requires working 4 days a week in the office. The successful candidate will have strong experience in both front-end and back-end technologies and will be responsible for building responsive and scalable web applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered):
- At least 5–6 years of experience in full stack development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in front-end and back-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Java, Node.js, Python, or C#
- Experience with Spring framework - Springboot
- Experience building responsive and scalable web applications
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and contemporary UI/UX design principles
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with databases such as SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cosmos DB)
- Experience with Git-based source control tools such as GitHub and Bitbucket
- Experience working in Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required):
- Experience with IBM MQ
- Experience with ORM frameworks and data modeling
- Knowledge of GitHub Copilot
Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role):
- Develop and maintain web applications using a variety of front-end and back-end technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Product, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software
- Research new tools and technologies to recommend improvements and optimizations
