We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented and hands-on Housekeeping Lead to join our hotel team.

In this role, you will help oversee the day-to-day housekeeping operation, lead and support the housekeeping team, and ensure our guest rooms and hotel areas consistently meet our cleanliness and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will play an important role in ensuring our guests have a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure guest rooms and hotel areas are cleaned efficiently and thoroughly.
- Lead, motivate and support housekeeping staff while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
- Train new housekeeping employees on proper cleaning procedures, hotel standards and safety practices.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house areas to ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.
- Follow up on rooms that do not meet required standards and ensure issues are corrected promptly.
- Prepare and adjust daily work assignments based on occupancy and operational requirements.
- Monitor staff attendance, productivity and overall performance.
- Coordinate with the Front Desk regarding room status, priorities and guest requests.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to identify and follow up on maintenance issues in guest rooms and common areas.
- Respond to housekeeping-related guest requests and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage housekeeping supplies, linen, equipment and inventory, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment.
- Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of housekeeping storage areas.
- Ensure all health, safety, sanitation and chemical-handling procedures are followed.
- Assist the housekeeping team with cleaning duties when required, particularly during busy periods.




- Help management maintain consistent housekeeping procedures and standards throughout the hotel.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality cleaning or a similar environment.
- Previous leadership, supervisory or team-lead experience is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of hotel cleaning procedures, equipment and cleaning products.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with housekeeping, front desk and maintenance teams.
- Positive attitude and ability to motivate and work with a diverse team.
- Professional and courteous when interacting with guests.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when issues arise.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physically demanding duties, including lifting moderate loads.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Previous experience in a hotel supervisory or lead role is preferred but strong housekeeping experience with leadership potential will also be considered.
