Elevate health, safety, and environmental performance as an HSE Superintendent for Savanna Drilling in Leduc, Alberta. Lead compliance initiatives, mentor crews, and ensure a culture of safety across all rig locations. This leadership role focuses on maintaining high compliance with safety policies and regulations.
You will conduct field audits, provide guidance, and promote a proactive safety culture while working closely with operations and management teams. The position reports to the HSE Manager and involves approximately 80% fieldwork. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular field visits for safety compliance oversight
- Support implementation of Savanna’s HSE programs on rigs
- Ensure corporate standards and regulatory compliance are met
- Promote proactive hazard identification and control on site
- Assist in incident investigations and root cause analysis
Requirements:
- Certificate/Diploma in OH&S; from accredited school
- 3-5 years of industry experience in drilling/completions
- Solid knowledge of OH&S; and incident investigation
- Ability to travel to remote rig sites across provinces
- Valid driver’s license for extensive travel
