Atlantica is seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Service Manager to lead our service operations team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The HVAC Service Manager is responsible for overseeing service delivery and supporting technicians in the field, while developing and maintaining solid customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Operations and working in an exciting and collaborative environment, you will:

- Lead and support HVAC service technicians and service department staff, to ensure safe, productive and quality performance.
- Manage daily service operations and oversee dispatch activities.
- Visit job sites regularly to monitor progress, ensure quality standards are met, and provide technical support when necessary.
- Support technicians in resolving technical and operational issues.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships that promote long-term customer retention and business growth.
- Review technicians service reports and related documentation for accuracy.
- Coordinate material procurement and inventory requirements for scheduled work.
- Promote safe work practices and maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Review and approve maintenance agreements, service proposals prepared by the Business Development team.
- Prepare quotations,



estimates and proposals for service-related project opportunities.
- Assist the Business Development team with customer meetings, site visits, project assessments, and contract discussions.

Who are we looking for? Education & Experience

- Post-secondary technical diploma, degree or relevant technical/industrial work experience
- Five of more year relevant experience in supervisory role within HVAC or mechanical services industry
- Experience preparing estimates, quotations and service proposals.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprint specifications.
- Experience working with unionized trades in construction industry would be considered an asset.

Job Details

- Permanent, Full Time
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
