Become a vital contributor at the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives as a Policy Analyst. Engage in policy research and synthesis while working in a hybrid mode from Vancouver, B.C. This temporary, full-time role will focus on supporting nursing and midwifery regulation until October 2027.
As a Policy Analyst, you'll analyze trends and emerging issues through evidence synthesis and report generation. Your work will drive organizational decision-making and influence standards support initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement research strategies for policy analysis
- Gather evidence via surveys, interviews, and scans
- Develop background papers and briefing materials
- Analyze consultation requests and identify themes
- Manage survey processes and coordinate feedback
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a health-related field
- 5 to 7 years of healthcare experience
- Proficient in research methodologies and data analysis
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Commitment to Indigenous cultural safety and humility
Contribute to health regulation and support Indigenous-specific anti-racism initiatives at BCCNM.
