Immigration Case Processor

Job Type: Full-time

Wage: $20.00 per hour

Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Overtime: Paid after 40 hours per week in accordance with BC employment standards

About the Position

Reliance Immigration Inc. is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Immigration Case Processor. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and assist with immigration applications, legal research, and written submissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and organize immigration applications and supporting documents.
- Assist with Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) applications.
- Prepare Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applications.
- Process Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) applications.
- Prepare inside-Canada and outside-Canada work permit applications.
- Prepare inside-Canada and outside-Canada study permit applications.
- Draft submission letters, explanation letters, procedural fairness responses, reconsideration requests, and other case-related correspondence under RCIC supervision.
- Conduct legal and case law research using CanLII and other reliable legal resources.
- Identify relevant legislation, regulations, program delivery instructions, operational guidelines, and court decisions.
- Review client documents for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and possible concerns.
- Complete immigration forms and prepare document checklists.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical client files.
- Communicate professionally with clients, employers, and team members.
- Monitor application deadlines and follow up on outstanding documents.
- Perform other case-processing and administrative duties assigned by the supervising RCIC.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of relevant experience processing Canadian immigration applications.




- Practical experience with LMIA, PNP, TRV, work permit, and study permit applications.
- Previous legal drafting experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct legal and immigration case law research is required.
- Ability to understand and apply relevant legislation, regulations, immigration policies, and case law.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify legal, factual, and documentary issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Punjabi language skills are considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple files and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with online immigration portals, Microsoft Office, email, and document-management systems.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Must be dependable, punctual, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively under supervision.
- Professional references are required and will be verified.

Compensation and Benefits
- $20.00 per hour.
