Cave Integration
Calgary
No experience required, we'll train you.
About us
Cave Integration is a Calgary technology integration company. We install home theatres, whole-home audio and video, networking and Wi-Fi, security cameras, access control, Starlink, and boardroom AV for homeowners, businesses and restaurants across Calgary and area. Most of our work happens inside finished homes and working businesses, so how we show up matters as much as how we install.
The role
You'll work side by side with our installation team on installs and service calls. This is hands-on work and a real way into the audio visual and low voltage industry. No experience? That's fine. If you're green, we'll train you. Bring reliability, care and a willingness to learn, and we'll teach you the rest.
What you'll do
- Pull Cat6, coax and speaker wire through walls, ceilings, attics and crawlspaces
- Help mount TVs, speakers, cameras and Wi-Fi access points
- Load, stage and unpack equipment, and keep the van and job site organized
- Work safely from ladders and in tight spaces
- Protect the client's home: floor protection, drop sheets, and a clean site at the end of every day
- Learn rack builds, cable labelling and testing as you progress
Must have
- Fluent spoken and written English. You'll talk with clients in their homes and offices and follow written plans and labels
- Knows how to read a measuring tape accurately, down to 1/16"
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools (drill/driver, level, stud finder), or keen to learn
- Comfortable on ladders, in attics and in crawlspaces
- Able to lift 50 lb and be on your feet all day
- CSA-approved steel-toe boots
- Reliable: on time, every time,
and you call ahead if something comes up
- A clean, respectful presence in a client's home
Nice to have
- Experience on a construction site, in any trade
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract
- Reliable transportation to get to work
- Any cable pulling, electrical or low voltage experience
- An interest in technology: networking, home theatre, smart home
What we offer
- $18 to $24 per hour based on experience, reviewed at 90 days
- Weekday daytime hours
- Paid, hands-on training from people who take pride in the work
- Paid certifications as you progress
- Safety training provided
- Clean, qualified job sites in homes and businesses
