Design What Comes Next
Join WSP's Transportation and Infrastructure (T&I;) team as an Intermediate Bridge Engineer and play a key role in delivering transportation infrastructure that strengthens communities across Atlantic Canada. Working from any WSP office in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland and Labrador, you'll contribute to the planning, design, rehabilitation, and delivery of impactful bridge projects that enhance mobility, safety, and connectivity for generations to come.
Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll bring technical expertise, innovation, and a collaborative mindset to projects that make a meaningful impact across the province.
Your Impact
- Lead and support the design, analysis, and rehabilitation of bridge and transportation structures.
- Deliver high-quality engineering solutions that enhance public safety and infrastructure performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical and sustainable project outcomes.
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project delivery.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and field reviews to support construction and asset management activities.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Advance innovative engineering practices that strengthen communities and support long-term infrastructure resilience.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural or bridge engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in New Brunswick or eligibility to obtain registration.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Experience in bridge design, assessment, rehabilitation, and transportation infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency with structural analysis and bridge design software.
- Strong understanding of Canadian bridge codes, transportation standards, and engineering best practices.
- Experience preparing technical reports, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

Compensation
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
