We are an award-winning hospitality interior design firm located in the Broadway/Kits area seeking a talented Intermediate Interior Designer to fill a 3-month contract that may result in a permanent position. Only selected qualified candidates will be contacted for interview and testing.

Qualifications, Education & Experience

- A minimum of 5 years of professional design experience within an interior design firm, with experience in hospitality projects such as hotels and/or senior living facilities.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Interior Design from a recognized educational institution is a must.
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Canada within a design firm.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Bluebeam, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), experience with SPEXX and Revit is a plus.

About You

- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with active listening abilities.
- Skilled in sourcing materials and FF&E;, and in producing well thought out design concepts and details.
- Able to collaborate directly with clients to refine project scope and develop narratives and concepts.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to sell your ideas to the client and brand.




- Proficient in producing comprehensive working drawings and contract documents.
- Able to independently lead a mid-size hospitality/senior living project from concept development through to construction drawing phases.
- Successfully manages multiple projects including project hours, change orders and scope.
- Maintains meticulous attention to detail.
- Excels in time management, ensuring project deadlines are consistently met.
- Provides guidance and mentorship to junior team members as you settle into the role.
- Works effectively both independently and collaboratively under direction.
- Fosters strong working relationships with peers, suppliers, partners, and clients; recognized as a team player.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and fluent in both spoken and written English.
