Details

- Four-year degree in a related field OR an equivalent combination of related work experience and education.
- Two years of related experience (international student services, international education, student services), preferably in post-secondary education.
- Strong intercultural knowledge and experience in working with culturally diverse populations.
- This position requires a candidate who holds Regulated International Student Immigration Advisor (RISIA) or RCIC designation or who has made significant progress toward obtaining RISIA designation.




- Considerable knowledge of immigration rules as they apply to international students - Event and activity planning and promotion skills - Strong understanding of: adjustment process for international students, effective strategies to ease transition, and the contribution of international students to the College - Fluent in English. A conversational ability/fluency in another language is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract - First Aid and Mental Health First Aid training (candidates without this certification must obtain it within the first 1 year of employment) - Experience with Student Information Systems is an asset.
