Position: Invoicing Associate

ContainerWorld is a state-of-the-art forwarding, warehousing and distribution Company located in Richmond, British Columbia providing premier services for the beverage industry; with approximately 500 employees throughout its BC facilities. ContainerWorld also operates in Ontario.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:30PM

Position Overview:

Working mainly independently with guidance as required, ensures the timely billing of all activities pertaining to the Company’s operations in order to maintain an uninterrupted revenue stream.

:

- Generate invoices for services provided by the company
- Respond to all customer inquiries
- Maintain master file rate files to ensure accurate billings
- Resolve discrepancies in billing and communicate with clients/customers regarding invoices and payments.
- Assist with month-end closing by preparing invoicing and reports
- Collaborate with internal teams (finance, sales, etc.) to ensure accurate billing.





Required Qualifications:

- Attention to detail and robust organizational skills; including process improvement abilities
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent data entry and computer skills such as Excel
- Education in accounting and/or finance is an asset.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Preference will be given to candidates with previous truck/ocean billing experience
- Experience working on Sage is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- A self-starter with ability to work independently as well as in a team

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
