Role: iOS Mobile Engineer

Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid- 2 days)

Need iOS Engineers with strong Swift/iOS development expertise and experience building scalable mobile applications.

Need 10+ years of experience senior profiles for this role.

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer with hands-on iOS development experience to join our mobile engineering team. Backend development experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Swift and the Apple ecosystem, along with a passion for building scalable, high-performing, and user-centric mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications and features.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and developers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, and independently resolve technical challenges.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Identify and resolve application performance, stability, and usability issues.





Required Skills & Experience

- Robust proficiency in Swift, including protocols, generics, and functional programming concepts.
- Experience with SwiftUI and modern iOS frameworks.
- Expertise in Xcode for development, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and third-party services.
- Knowledge of persistence technologies such as CoreData, Keychain, and UserDefaults.
- Experience with unit and UI testing (XCTest, XCUI) and TDD practices.
- Strong Git-based development practices.
- Proficiency in performance analysis tools, including Xcode Instruments and Memory Graph.
- Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and independent execution.
- Continuous learner with a passion for emerging iOS technologies.

Preferred Qualification

- Backend development experience.
