Brief high-level overview of the role and some key responsibilities this person will need to have.
- At a high level the job is to provide operational, review, and support services to developers submitting to the Slack App Directory. This will encompass:
- Triaging incoming submissions for priority and to make sure they are prepared for review
- Conducting thoughtful, comprehensive technical and user experience reviews of apps submitted to the Slack App Directory from 'Scale' App Directory developers
- Answering/escalating support requests from App Directory developers
- Assisting with developer community as part of routine quality/security audits
Top 3-5 skill sets that would make a candidate stand out from the rest
1. You have experience working in customer or developer support, or a similar role
2. You are a strong and confident writer
3. An understanding of the web and how it works, including standard API patterns. You're not necessarily writing and deploying your own JQuery-based, CSS-heavy responsive sites, but you're also not afraid of the technology and are eager to learn.
4. Folks with SaaS support experience tend to be a good fit.
Possibility of extension. Going perm would depend very much on access to headcount + the candidate.
Candidate will need to work EST.

- Answering/escalating support requests from App Directory developers
- Assisting with developer community as part of routine quality/security audits

- You enjoy diving into a current app or service to thoroughly test it out, troubleshooting and reproducing issues
- You have experience working in customer or developer support, or a similar role
- You are a strong and confident writer
- You are curious and love learning new skills and knowledge, even when it feels challenging
- You know when something is over your head and are not afraid to ask for help
- You are comfortable working as part of a team as well as independently
