Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our agile team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of industrial and construction environments. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure is safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant codes and standards.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install and repair electrical systems.
- Install wiring, conduit, panels, switches, outlets, and other electrical components in industrial settings or during renovation projects.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to identify root causes quickly and effectively.
- Work with low voltage systems such as alarms, communication lines, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure proper operation.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously while working with high-voltage systems or in complex construction environments.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within scope.




- Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations to ensure ongoing safety and compliance with local codes.

Qualifications

- Valid journeyman/woman electrician license or certification recognized by the relevant authority.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and renovation projects.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with handyman experience for versatile troubleshooting.
