The Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated, and creative Junior Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving QTi’s brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, digital transformation, and event execution.



From executing a complete overhaul and redesign of our company website to launching high-impact communications campaigns—including exciting recent breaking news!—you will be deeply involved in telling QTi’s story to the world.

What You’ll Do

- Website Redesign & Management: Lead the complete redesign, layout structuring, and relaunch of the QTi website, ensuring a modern, responsive user experience and consistent brand messaging.
- Digital & Graphic Design: Apply hands-on graphic design expertise to create engaging visual assets, social media graphics, marketing collateral, and presentation decks.
- Communications & PR: Lead short-term priority campaigns, including press release drafting, media distribution, and content rollouts.
- Event & Conference Coordination: Support the planning, logistics, and execution of events targeted at investors, enterprise customers, and top-tier technical talent, as well as managing QTi's conference participation.
- Campaign & Playbook Execution: Utilize structured marketing frameworks (such as campaign playbooks) to plan, execute, and track multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Social Media & Stakeholder Engagement: Drive QTi’s day-to-day social media presence (primarily LinkedIn), keeping communications fresh, consistent, and focused on engaging new stakeholders and ecosystem partners.

Who You Are

- Driven & Self-Motivated: You are ambitious, proactive,



and thrive in a scale-up environment where you can take initiative and figure things out.
- Design & Web Savvy: You possess strong graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Canva) and demonstrated experience building or redesigning websites (e.g., Webflow, WordPress, or similar CMS platforms).
- Strong Communicator: You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a knack for translating complex tech concepts into clear, engaging content.
- Event & Project Organizer: You are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing event logistics, tracking deadlines, and coordinating conference appearances.
- Relevant Background: You hold a degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with 1–3 years of hands-on experience (internships and co-op experience included).
- In-Office Collaborator: You thrive in a collaborative team setting. You are comfortable working on-site in our Calgary office 100% of the time during your initial 3-month onboarding period, transitioning to our standard hybrid model (4 days in-office with your choice of WFH on Tuesday or Thursday) afterward.
