Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Helper/Cook to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, cooking, and food handling tasks. Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards
- Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to ensure timely meal production
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards at all times
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or dining areas, ensuring presentation meets quality expectations




- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies; notify supervisors when replenishment is needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is highly desirable
- Experience in meal preparation, serving, or working in a busy kitchen setting will help you succeed in this role
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
