Kitchen general help - Mt Milligan

Fly in/Fly out: Flights to site covered

Hourly rate: 22.00$/ hour

Contract for 2 weeks From September 23rd to October 2nd.

What You'll Do

Whetheryou'repreparing meals,maintainingfacilities, or supporting daily operations, your work makes a real impact.You’llhelp create a safe, comfortable, and energizing environment for workers living far from home.

As a General Helper you will:

During your mandate, you will be asked to operate a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain,



seasons and knead foodstuffs for cooking, serving, and storing.

Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.

Inspects workstations for compliance with service standards.

Keeps records and requisition for supplies/equipment as needed.

Cleans and sanitizes workstations and equipment following all Sodexo, client and regulatory rules and procedures.

May have basic cooking responsibilities, i.e., cook vegetables, chicken for salads.

You may be required to wash dishes, glasses and utensils by hand or with a dishwasher, maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen (floors, equipment and material), emptying the garbage cans and transporting the garbage to the appropriate containers.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

A sense of adventure and readiness to live and work in a remote setting

You have a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role,

A team-first attitude andstrong communicationskills

Physical ability to meet job demands (e.g., lifting, standing forlong periods)
