Westman Groundworks is hiring an experienced Landscape Crew Lead. This is a hands-on position working alongside and providing direction to a landscape installation crew. Winter work is also available to qualified candidates

SCHEDULE

- Seasonal, full time work from April through November
- Option to work a fifth 10-hour day at regular time during peak season
- Schedule may change due to weather or project demands

DUTIES

- Direct and work alongside crew members
- Install patios, retaining walls, sod, rock, trees and shrubs
- Assist with grading, elevations and project layout
- Operate skid steers, mini excavators and compact equipment
- Maintain job-site quality, safety and productivity

REQUIREMENTS

- At least two years of landscaping or construction experience
- Valid Class 5 driver?s licence
- Equipment-operating experience
- Ability to lead a small crew
- Strong attention to detail
- Phone with an active data plan

Class 3, air-brake, grading and trailer experience are assets.
