Responsibilities

- Lead food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring dishes meet quality and presentation standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to maintain efficient workflow and teamwork.
- Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Coordinate meal preparation to meet service times, managing multiple orders simultaneously.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, adhering to health codes and safety protocols at all times.
- Support training of new team members on cooking techniques, food safety standards, and restaurant procedures.

Requirements





- Proven experience in food service or restaurant kitchens with a strong background in food preparation and cooking.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent skills in meal preparation, serving, and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience working in a restaurant or similar food service setting is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including inventory management and food safety regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
