Ironclad Properties Inc. is seeking a dedicated Leasing Agent who will be responsible for promoting available rental properties, responding to prospective resident inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the initial leasing experience. This role coordinates and conducts property and suite viewings, provides accurate information regarding available suites, features, amenities, and pricing, and follows up with prospective residents as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to telephone, email, and in-person inquiries from prospective residents, providing professional and timely customer service and maintaining accurate records of prospect interactions.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of available properties and suites, including suite features, amenities, pricing, promotions, and incentives, to effectively communicate rental opportunities to prospective residents.
- Schedule and conduct property and show suite tours, providing prospective residents with accurate information and a positive viewing experience.
- Maintain awareness of current suite availability and communicate prospect interest,
feedback, and leasing activity to the Property Management team as required.
- Ensure show suites, leasing areas, and other areas used for prospective resident tours are clean, well-presented, and ready for viewings.
- Monitor the general appearance and cleanliness of the property while conducting tours and report any maintenance, cleanliness, or presentation concerns to the appropriate team.
- Support advertising and marketing initiatives by providing feedback on prospective resident inquiries, market activity, and common questions or concerns received during the leasing process.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, scheduled viewings, completed tours, prospect follow-ups, and other leasing-related activity in accordance with company procedures.
- Follow up with prospective residents following inquiries and suite viewings, as appropriate, and facilitate communication with the Property Management team regarding interested prospects.
- Collaborate with Property Management, Maintenance, Head Office, and Devon Properties as required to support an organized and seamless leasing experience for prospective residents.
- Represent the company professionally and provide exceptional customer service in all interactions with prospective residents, current residents, vendors, and colleagues.
- Perform general administrative duties and other related responsibilities consistent with the scope and level of the position.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leasing, property management, or similar role, preferably within residential apartment leasing.
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience, with a demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in documentation and administrative tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with prospective and current residents.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, skilled, and customer-focused attitude, with a strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn property management and leasing software.
