About Us
Kits Point Dental Group is seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) to provide vital support to our Dentist and Patients in a busy downtown-adjacent dental clinic. Their responsibilities include assisting with patient care, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, and educating patients on oral hygiene. The successful candidate will also handle administrative tasks like scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Hourly wage range is from $31.00 to $35.00 depending on experience. Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Your Role
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
- Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
- Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
- Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
- Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
- Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
- Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
About You
- Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
